​​Do I need an account to hire access
platforms?
No you don't need an account, only hires on 30 day payments require an account
however, accounts are free, quick and easy to open.
Do I need a special licence?
No license required only a short training course; it only takes our accredited certified trainers 30 min/hour
max to fully familiarise train a person on how to safely use a machine, you will be issued a certificate once
training is complete.

​Does the machine already come with diesel?
Machines come with enough diesel to get the machine off the truck, diesel is your responsibility.
Why hire access platform equipment?
Providing a safe, convenient and cost-effective means of working at height, our powered platforms deliver
the ideal solution as the replacement for more traditional methods of access safer, quicker and easier to
set up then traditional scaffolding or rope and access
Do I need a harness for all MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work
Platforms)?
Although not a legal requirement, both the OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) and IPAF (the International
Powered Access Federation) strongly recommends that a full body harness with an adjustable lanyard (adjusted as
short as possible to provide work restraint) is used when working from a boom type MEWP or trailer mounted boom.
Can I purchase or hire harnesses from you?
Yes, we offer harness and lanyard sets which come complete with individual serial numbers and product history cards.
We also provide IPAF harness training.
What if I need more safety gear?
We have that all sorted out, we sell and hire all safety gear necessary, including specialised safety signage.
Can I pay by credit or debit card?
Yes, you can also choose to make a pre-payment for your machines by credit or debit (cheque)
card before the hire takes place.
What do I do when I no longer need the machine on hire?
When you wish to terminate the hire of the machine, please call 031 569 2048 to obtain your unique off hire
reference number. Please retain your off hire number as this is evidence of termination of the hire.
Arrangements can also be made for the collection of the machine at the same time.
